Privacy policy

This page explains what Deep Test Prep collects when you use deeptestprep.com, why, and who helps store it.

The short version: we keep what’s needed to run your account, save your progress, and process a purchase. We never sell it.

What we collect

  • Your email address, and your name and profile picture if you sign in with Google.
  • Your lesson progress: which lessons you started and finished, and which practice questions you answered correctly.
  • Your work on practice tests and practice sets: each answer and every change to it, and the time you spent on each question. If you turn on Deep Analysis, also where your pointer rested on each question.
  • Purchase records from Stripe, such as the amount and date. Stripe handles card details, so we never see your card number.
  • If you apply to be an affiliate, the details you give in the application.
  • Public page visits and actions such as trying an article exercise, opening the library offer, and starting checkout. These analytics events contain no account details, answers, or text you enter.

Cookies and browser storage

  • A sign-in cookie keeps you signed in.
  • If you arrive through an affiliate’s link, a cookie remembers that for 60 days, so the affiliate gets credit for a purchase.
  • If you aren’t signed in, your progress is kept in your own browser’s storage and is added to your account when you sign in.
  • A separate cookie remembers the most recent article you visited for 30 days.
  • If you purchase during those 30 days, we attach that article’s address to the Stripe purchase record, to understand which articles help readers find the library.

Services that store data for us

  • Supabase stores accounts and progress.
  • Stripe processes payments.
  • Resend delivers email.
  • Vercel hosts the site and provides website analytics.

Each one handles data only to provide its service.

Tutors and partners

A tutor or a partner program sees your work only after you join their class, with their code or link or through their tutoring agreement with you. Then they can see:

  • your answers and changes, and your time on each question
  • where your pointer rested, if you turned on Deep Analysis
  • your practice tests and what you studied

If you leave their list, or they end your membership, they stop seeing your work. Access through a partner lasts for the term of their agreement.

Students

The site is meant for students 13 and older. Parents and students can ask us to delete an account and its data at any time.

Seeing or deleting your data

Use the form below to get a copy of your data or to delete your account. Purchase records may be kept as long as tax law requires.
