How full tests work

Real SAT difficulty

Whichever test you take, your score comes out about the same.

You usually get a few more right on a slightly easier test, and a few fewer on a slightly harder one.College Board adjusts each SAT’s scoring for its difficulty, called “equating”. It isn’t a curve: your score never depends on how anyone else did.

  1. Practice Test 2Slightly easier than the average SAT. Each miss costs a little more.

Your results rank the skills where you lost the most points.

Each skill links to its lesson, and each miss opens with its explanation.

Your results show your time on every question against the usual time.

Each question has its own usual range, so a long passage gets more time. Point at one to see its time.

Question 11 · Evidence from texts, tables, and graphs

A long time, and still missed

When a question runs long, pick your best answer, use “Mark for Review”, and come back if time is left.

Deep Analysis

After each test, a heatmap shows where your attention went.

On a question you missed, it can show a close call between two choices.

Deep AnalysisIt keeps where your mouse rests, never the path it moves along. Nothing shows while you work.
